Founder and Manager, JBH Heating and Air

Ben Haws is the proud founder and driving force behind JBH Heating and Air, a trusted family-owned HVAC business serving the Miami Valley since 2014. A lifelong Dayton native, Ben discovered his passion for heating and cooling early—starting with remodeling during college and transitioning to HVAC after completing trade school.

With years of experience repairing hundreds of systems in the Dayton area and a stint managing commercial and industrial HVAC at the University of Dayton, Ben brings both hands-on expertise and technical finesse to every project. He holds a finance degree from Wright State University, which he blends with his technical background to design and install systems correctly—with careful calculations that ensure optimal fit and efficiency for each customer.

Above all, Ben is known for his dedication to honest, high-quality service. He prides himself on transparent communication—whether explaining manual J load calculations, testing static pressure, or simply cleaning up after the job is done. Ben’s approach isn’t about pushing equipment—it’s about providing the right solution at the right time, maintaining a low-overhead business model that benefits his customers directly.
